Terms for Keighley

1. Keighley Rental

All vehicle rentals with Keighley are governed by a detailed Rental Agreement supplied at booking confirmation or at vehicle collection. This agreement sets out the specific terms, conditions, insurance cover, charges, and your responsibilities for the particular rental. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will take precedence.

2. Keighley Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Keighley, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old (age restrictions may vary by vehicle type, with additional charges possible for drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category, held for the minimum period specified in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid identification and proof of address and payment as required by Keighley.

3. Keighley Booking and Payment

  • Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, or in person at our Keighley location. A booking deposit may be required to secure your reservation. Full payment and a security deposit are normally due when you collect the vehicle. All prices are in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable.

4. Keighley Vehicle Collection and Return

  • When collecting a vehicle from Keighley you must inspect it thoroughly and report any existing damage immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed at handover. Return the vehicle in the same condition as collected, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be assessed by Keighley and charged accordingly.

5. Keighley Insurance and Liability

  • Basic third-party insurance is included with all rentals in Keighley. Full coverage details and excess amounts are provided in the Rental Agreement. Optional insurance products may be available to reduce your financial liability. Please review these options carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the excess amount shown in the Rental Agreement.

6. Cancellation and Changes — Keighley

Keighley’s cancellation and amendment policies vary by booking type and notice period. Consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for specific details. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges.

7. Keighley Prohibitions

You must not use the Keighley vehicle for:

  • Any unlawful purpose or activity in connection with Keighley vehicles. Participation in racing, rallying, off-road events or other high-risk driving. Carrying hazardous or dangerous goods or materials. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorised drivers. Operating the vehicle while impaired by alcohol or drugs. Use for purposes for which the vehicle was not designed.

Violating these restrictions may result in immediate termination of your Keighley rental and additional charges.

8. Limitation of Liability — Keighley

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Keighley Vehicle Hire Services will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant service.

9. Governing Law — Keighley

These Terms, as applied to Keighley, are governed by English and Welsh law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English and Welsh courts.

10. Changes to Keighley

Keighley may update these Terms at any time. Updates take effect immediately upon posting to Keighley’s website. Continued use of Keighley’s services after posting constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
